Kirk Pfeiffer is a transformative force in arts education whose career bridges Broadway excellence with a rare gift for mentorship. A former Broadway performer with credits including A Chorus Line, Grease, Oklahoma, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and workshops for Footloose, Fosse, and Tap Dogs, Kirk brings a depth of professional experience that elevates every student he teaches. But it is his work in the studio—not on the stage—that defines his true legacy.

For more than 25 years, Kirk has shaped performers across the country as a theatre and dance educator, guiding students from their earliest training through college admissions, professional auditions, and long-term career development. Known for his ability to recognize talent long before students see it in themselves, he combines rigorous technique with individualized mentorship to help young artists discover confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of personal identity.

Kirk’s students have gone on to thrive at top conservatories—including Boston Conservatory, UNCSA, Elon, Tisch, Northwestern, and AMDA—and to build careers on Broadway, national tours, Disney, Universal, cruise lines, television, film, and beyond. Many return to work with him as peers, a testament to the lifelong professional relationships he cultivates.

A creative leader and storyteller, Kirk has written, directed, and choreographed more than 30 original musicals and has served in artistic leadership roles throughout North and South Carolina, New York, Tennessee, and Colorado. His Off-Broadway production My Princess Diana premiered in New York to national attention.

Scott Pfeiffer is a theatre educator, director, and arts leader committed to helping performers of all ages discover their creative voice. As the co-founder and co-Director of 54Talent—formerly the Charleston Performing Arts Center, James Island Junior Theatre, and Cultural Arts Center Charleston—Scott has spent more than a decade creating programs that blend professional-level production values with accessible, meaningful arts education.

At the heart of Scott’s work is teaching. He has developed and taught curricula in acting, musical theatre, and performance technique across conservatories, private schools, community programs, and workshops. Known for his ability to recognize a student’s potential early and nurture it with clarity, structure, and encouragement, Scott provides performers with the tools they need to build confidence both on and off the stage. He also brings “the ART of business” alive for professionals seeking ways to find their creative and natural spark through coaching and support.

As a writer, director, and producer, Scott has created and staged more than 30 original musicals and revues, along with numerous book musicals, including work that premiered off-Broadway. His rehearsal and performance processes are known for their professionalism, organization, and creative energy, fostering a space where performers can take risks, deepen their craft, and experience the joy of storytelling.

Whether in the classroom, the rehearsal room, or a collaborative creative process, Scott’s mission remains steadfast: to inspire artists, strengthen community, and create theatre experiences that make people feel connected, capable, and seen.
